Good morning to all,

I've recently downloaded several pieces of rolling stock from (another forum site) a popular site. Several of the Zip files un-zip as all files do.

Other's when I attempted to un-zip them produced the message " Please insert the last disc of a multi-set of discs"

My confusion is why does these files differ from other's?

Has anyone been confronted with this issue?

First of all, which WIN O/S is installed ?

"Inserting the last disk" requests could have something to do with the download having been "Spanned" over more than one ZIP.

That's because you are using IE7 instead of Firefox. Firefox doesn't give you problems like that. You can also get wrar351 freeware. Use google to do a search.

Internet browsers only link to web sites for downloading ZIPs. They do not extract them !

Otto, IE tries to change the .01, etc file extension to zip. You have to watch for it or things will FUBAR before you know it. Firefox does not try that.

Although IE can cause this problem with spanned zip files, this problem is with rollingstock files. I have had the same problem with files from Trackside productions website for the SLI reskins they have . It just requires that you re download again. Note the file size before you try extracting. If it says 70KB or so you will get that error message.

Sorry, Kev, but that's a new one to me.

When I download or have downloaded spanned .01, .02, etc, files then they are inside ZIP files. There are no download files in the File Library which have a .01, etc, filename extensions.
