~3/4 YouTube videos are stuck on the loading screen.
Reinstalling flash player doesn't help. I have vista, but the steps they post do no good. The file doesn't exist, since I have Firefox and IE is completely unusable.

Dear amtrak7

i can view youtube over at my stepfather house earlier and he has vista on his computer so i don't see why you can't view youtube unless your security setting is to high. you may want to
check your security setting on firefox which is locate under tools, options, and click on security setting. oh one more thing if your security setting to high you can't view some sites it stop Cookies, Active Script on your computer that is probably the reason that you can't get youtube videos to work.

I hope this help

You could also try Save2PC (http://www.save2pc.com/), a great utility that lets you download the YouTube videos, as well as Google videos and a few other sites, to your hard drive and watch them at your convenience.

What do you mean by "IE is completely un-usable? Do you mean, literally un-usable? If so, there would be a problem with your Windows installation which may be affecting this.

Since that is an old post, here are the updates:

Almost all videos show 'This video is no longer available', even though they can be downloaded.

Originally, IE was literally unusable-it crashed upon opening. Now, with SP1, it is usable, but slower than a sloth. I don't use it except for troubleshooting, when Safe Mode ensures its reliability.
