You dig a tunnel under the channel, and you never know when some lazy engineer is going to miss a switch and get a little off track.:p
BTW, what breed of cows do you milk in Wales?

Bob, we got a tunnel that goes under the channel, but i vote we seal it off. LOL

Fresians i believe.

Yeah in my haste to be funny, i forgot to say it is the olde enemy that have the tunnel.
