Anyone interested in reskinning the 7F into something we could run in North America? I would edit the physics to give it a little more muscle.

I didn't know the British 7F was ever used in North America. There were some 2-8-0 engines but I don't think they were related the 7F.

Yeah, yeah, blasted rivet counters..hehe!
It wasn't!
I just thought it could be an effort at artistic license to skin it into a version for either say SP or some fictious road like the Nevada, Barstow, and Pacific. I could add a bit of weight and a little more boiler pressure. It would be something different to run. Obviously Bill Hobbs would be able to do even better at tweaking the setup, but I have a heavy version without the skins that works, that I run.

Size of your freight rollingstock, the 7F will be limited to two of those boxcars, max. :D

Mike.

It 'll be cool giving any & all of the Euro Stock an American feel to it.

~ May I say, that 'coz its a "sim", it allows us to be "inventive" over what we can do, giving us the opportunity to bring the "vitual" world together, and hey, "My Great, Great Grand Pappi, was a Rail Road Tycoon, who only ever had British made stock on his Railway." ~ It's Fiction al'right, but could make for an interesting Route & Storyline.

~ Fortunately, we aren't stuck with the "chain" coupler, and can "hot swap" them for some "knuckles" in RS. (Pity about those Buffers, guess we're a bit stuck with those in the model!)
