Over at the Rail Simulator forum your can feast your eyes on one of the most detailed engine model yet developed for RS. http://www.railsimulator.com/en/node/1689
The author, Mr_Angelo gives a list of all the included properties. About all you'll have to do is change the oil from time to time! Oh, BTW, its free!
Below are a couple of pictures -

Hi Arthur !
Once again it is up to 3rd-party creators to achieve this perfection not supplied with a train simulator ! ;)
http://www.otto-wipfel.co.uk/rsa/diesel-mr_angelo.jpg (http://www.otto-wipfel.co.uk)
He started on this loco in January 08 and on the 24th of May he said this:
The cabin is ready. It is necessary to adjust all its elements on a maximum of opportunities :)
Loco has some anims:
* Separately opening doors.
* Separately opening 4 groups жалюзей a refrigerator.
* Animated rods of brake cylinders, brake blocks and its cinematic drive (here a small ambiguity. Animation is ready, but correctly to adjust it to brakes is not possible (while), however, this question in details is not investigated).
* Animated couples.
* Brake pipes at coupled rolling stock, too are connected.
The physics is adjusted, external sounds too.
Interior sounds will be adjusted in parallel with adjusting of cabin.
Looking forward to that one and these rails ! :D

I wonder how easy it will be to replace tracks in existing scenarios with tracks like these and perhaps other new ones, like I can do with my TRACKS-CHANGER in MSTS ?

What has the track got to do with anything in the thread?
It looks like a great model. Hopefully the first of many.

I am saying that I am looking forward to other improvements to RS like these tracks similar also used by Mr_Angelo, or hadn't you noticed, probably created by him too ?
It's was locos are running on and unless their quality is of similar high standards as the rolling stock then that waters down the enjoyment for me.
You may have different preferences or not care at all what the tracks look like !
And what does what I post have to do with you ? You don't have to read it !

Last time I checked this was the Train Sim forum not 'Otto's Personal Forum'. If you make a comment then you should expect it to be commented on. It seems to me that you can not post without complaining about something or other, no matter how irrelevent to the topic in hand. I await your usual threats of banning without baited breath.

Posters do expect reasonable comments on what they post, but not written in your sort of sarcastic manner, which goes up the nose of many in this forum.
I do not have to threaten the likes of you, doing their best to achieve getting banned by themselves ! ;)
This is the last time that I shall read and response to any of your posts, so don't bother responding to mine !

Dan1, I don't see where Otto was complaining. He was admiring the model as well as the tracks. Now that he mentioned it and brought my attention to the tracks I rather like them also.
I think things in RS are going to move now with compeating designers bringing it to a very high level. At least I hope so! The upcomming CSX route mentioned in another post looks very promising as an east coast alturnative to Cajon.

You said that last time. Goes to show how much your threats are worth. :lol:
Arthur - I agree. It also shows what can be done within the game and it sets a new benchmark for the game.
