My current graphics card is an ancient vtdisp.dll. I was wondering if anyone had ideas for a good upgrade, and where to get it.
Thanks in advance,

Ummm, that's not a graphics card, it's a piece of software...

As you can see I have no clue about this subject but what ever it is, it doesn't work.

A lot depends on if your video card is on the motherboard, or if it's PCI or AGP. I doubt it's the new PCI-E set up. It also depends on if you have an open PCI or AGP slot if it's on-board.
We really need your system specs, the easiest way to do that is to open "Run" from the Start menu, and type in "dxdiag" without the quotes. You'll have to go through the several tabs to get all of the information.

Oh, yeah, with the Consist? Yeah, the error is in the Consist file, I completely forgot that I renamed one of them before I zipped them up. You'll have to make a new consist file, or I can make one up real quick and shoot it to you.
OK, based on the info you gave me:

Given that you only a half a gig, I'd go ahead and buy another gig of Ram, it will make a HUGE difference. Since you have an AGP slot, I'd recommend a nice AGP card, according to HP it's an AGP x8, so pretty much any available AGP card that's compatable with AGP x8 will work, it just depends on what you prefer and how much money you want to spend.
Hope that helps!

I was looking at this AGP Card here http://www.buy.com/prod/xfx-geforce-6200-256mb-64-bit-ddr2-agp-8x-dvi-vga-tv-out-video-card/q/loc/101/202138367.html I assume installation is just pulling out the old and plugging in the new?

Not quite. You don't have one in there, the one you're using now is part of the motherboard. You'll have to go into the BIOS and tell it to use the AGP slot. HP's website should be able to fill you in on that, or just boot up, go into the BIOS, and look through the choices. It won't take that long to find it.
