I've been considering downloading this route. However, on the computer I use, space is an issue, so I have a couple of questions:
1. How large is the route once it has been installed?
2. How good are the activities?
3. How is the performance of the route?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Not a direct answer to your question regarding this route, but thought I would mention it in case you were not aware.
Route Riter (Mike Simpson) has the cpability to check any route for unused files. These are some of the files that a route's batch installer (if it has one) grabs from default MSTS routes, that are not used. This can potentially lead up to significant decreases in route size at times, and if space is a hot commodity, well worth running on all your routes.
Route Riter will save the files in the routes main folder in a folder called RRbackups. You can save these off of your system if you have means to do so. I would not endorse simply deleting the files at first, until running the entire route, in case there is that rogue file(s) that may be called for that Route Riter backed up safely. But if you can get it all off your system, you may be suprised (depending on how many routes you have) of the space savings.
Good Luck,
Neil :)

Thanks for the tip. I tried it on only two routes and dug up 150MB. I have downloaded the route, but I have yet to try it.
People are still welcome to share their thoughts, though.

Tim has done an excellent job on this route. Even though it's several years old it introduced a number of innovative route-building techniques that are now widely used in many freeware routes.
It's well worth the download. Be sure to to search the file libraries here and at elvastower.com for SV locos and rolling stock.
