Well said. Too bad Liberals have spent the last six years with their fingers in their ears, they eyes firmly clamped shut, chanting "na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na" so they can't hear anything they don't want to hear...

Pay attention to how Obama rebutts stuff:

1. His typical response is to ignore the content of whatever charge has been leveled at him; He never addresses the accusation. Goes right past it at the speed of light on his way to...

2. Demean his accuser's motives (usually by contrasting it to lofty ideals); He never letting the accusor off with a good natured he/she's mistaken... there's always a low blow in there. It goes like this: First knee his opponent in the groin and then say "Pay no attention to that knee thrust, I was just demonstrating what my opponent always does. What you want is me because I'm always better than that and you deserve the best". IMO it's a real passive-aggressive attack.

3. And like the master politician he is, he always finishes with his own talking points. Always. The listener walks away w/ only the most recent words in his mind and some vague notion that Obama sure is swell.

It is always 1. 2. 3.

Interesting methods for a politician who is running as The Completely New Kind of Politician , one who never does anything nasty.

McCain is going to have his hands full dealing w/ this slippery guy.

It's like I said in another post, Obama is the best con-man to come down the pike in many years.
McCain's only hope is to fight fire with fire and he just doesn't have it in him.
Obama has a lot of people fooled.

Watch for what I said, above. He does #1 in about 5 seconds. For #2 he makes sure he knees McCain in the groin w/ a slur or two... that takes about 20-30 seconds, and all the rest, #3, is how wonderful all of you listeners are and why you are oh so right in thinking Obama is the second coming.

Now mind you, he's been campaigning since the beginning about how public financing is the way he's going to go. Start the video again and watch again how fast he skips right past the issue of breaking his word -- step 1 -- so -- step 2 -- he can flip the focus over to making McCain the bad guy. And how long he spends mixing his talking points with praising the listener -- step 3.

What is pretty sad is that there is a scientific method to this pattern. His advisors know exactly how to play the public like a musical instrument and he listens to them quite well. If more Americans knew how to think critically for themselves we might not be caught up in this kind of mess. It's as if they are doing all they can to get only sheeple to the polls.
