Saluda Grade Error

I just installed (Or that was the meaning) Saluda grade but everytime it's loading it give's an error i have scale rail and scale road the errors are as followed
Failed to open texture SR_Track_w3a.ace, Failed to load shae SR_2tcrv_w_01000r10.s and it goes on endles with these two errors!

Make sure you have the latest version of scailrail and scaleroads from 3Dtrains! I had similar problems when I first loaded it and the solution was downloading the updated version of these from Marc Nelson's site.

My guess would be that you installed it to the wrong place...

You might want to go back and read the directions carefully, since very few things in MSTS are a "push-button" install.

I installed it in the right place and run the installer:confused: and still the error~!

There was a long thread about installing Saluda when it was first released - I suggest you search for, and read, it.

I already readed that one and i tried what it sad (DO you think I start a thread like this whitout searching other threads with maybe anser) but still no succes!

heres what i did to be sure....install all the new scale rail shapes and textures into your train sim global shapes and textures....then install the new scale rail shapes and textures into the corresponding shapes and textures folders of the saluda route(awnser yes to overwrite all)....i did not use the auto installers but unzipped the four or five items from 3d trains onto my desktop and dropped them into the global and route separately.....then the route worked...i also did this with the gm&o northern and atsf marc sub which previously had the original scale rails track...and they were updated from the original dark roadbed to the newer version of scale rails i wanted...there may be some duplication...i dont know..but it worked...besure to back up your global and saluda route before doing this.....bob

AND... Make sure that you have either the latest X-tracks installed OR the latest tsection.dat. BECAUSE, if you don't, MSTS won't know that scalerail exists...

Just a thought, the other alternative is to try a mini-route...

And PLEASE, keep in mind, we're trying to help you, we're not sitting in front of your computer, so we must ask questions to try to get to the root of the problem...

AND, Saluda's worth the effort...
