As he leaves the White House at the end of his second term, the President has a poll rating of only 23 per cent, and is widely disliked and even despised. His foreign policy has been judged a failure, especially in view of the long, painful, costly war that he declared, which is still not over.

Most serious historians know it is isn't history until 50-100 years pass. Before then, it's still current events.
IMO, history will show Bush's foreign policy to be very successful. I have doubts it will be so kind to his domnestic policies... but then, other than my tax rate, as I don't care one way or the other about almost any President's domestic policies I won't worry about what history may or may not say about Bush on that score.
But foreign policy, no doubts in my mind at all. Grade: A-
