Cajon Scenerio

Hi in the Cajon Pass Scenrio where you have 2 SD40-2 Cajon Route.You start in San Bernardino Yard.I am having Trouble where the Tracks are switched I hit.The F3 Key shows my Track in Red how do I know when I have.A clear Track I hit the G key nothing.Or do I have too wait a bit.Hope ya can help.Please keep this a simple reply.

In the F3 window, if your track is not blue after a dot, click on it to throw the switch.

Well for some reason the Cajon Pass Scenario is lost when.Ever I start it in Editor the Tracks are off and I see.Track bumpers in front of my Train also the yellow Track.Lines are Missing too whenever I pick up the Train get.Send & Don't Send error so.Otto do you have the Original Cajon Pass Scenario cause.When ever I Install the Arriving East Zip ya posted.I can run the Arriving East & other Scenarios.But it still not reseting the Original Cajon Pass Scenario hope ya can Help.If I am asking a wrong question here let me know.

These are the Cajon scenarios you should see, all of which are running o.k. here.

Well what I dod was try too change out the Locomotives clicked the.Locomotive Icon ya put on the ground.Now when I go to edit or run the actual Scenario.My Train is on Tracks but there are.3 track end Bumpers in front of my Train an cannot get that Scenario to run.But when I try to pick up the Train an try to place.It onto a Track but the Yellow Lines are not connected there.Half way and no Tracks are visable.Until I move and the Ground is Red so have.No idea what went wrong.How do I get the Cajon Pass Scenario to work.Or Download the Original one.Also the Barstow Heatwave gets the Send & Don't Send Error.Then I get an Error Memory Box.Like 000000 something.

Hi Tim !

That reminds me of the mess you got yourself in many times when I tried to teach you what to do in MSTS ! :o

Lets get back to square one with the CAJON. ;)

Download this again: www.otto-wipfel.co.uk/rs/arriving-east-b-sb.zip

After having unzipped it then run it's RouteSetup.exe.

That should restore all your CAJON scenarios back into their original working order.
Now BACK-UP your Rail Simulator folder by copying it to somewhere on your computer.

Having done that and you mess something up again you can then restore it !

Attached is a ZIP with the extended to San Bernardino "Arriving East" scenario.

Having un-zipped it then it run it's RouteSetup.exe and you should be able to run that scenario all the way to San Bernardino !

Until you have learned from reading many threads on the subject of how to make changes in scenarios you had better not touch any more ! :rolleyes:

Everything is Back too normal Otto.But the Cajon Pass Scenario with the 3.UP SD40-2's the Tracks are not lined up.The Tracks are there but not connected.How do I get the Tracks to line Back up again.Thanks Again.

You have been messing in the B-SB's Cajon Pass scenario, correct ? :mad:

Please stop doing that until you know more about what it takes to make changes and you have BACKED-UP the Rail Simulator folder !!!

If you got something else you fancy changing and rather than risk messing the Cajon up, let me know and I shall see what I can do, there not being much going on in train simming at the moment.

Standard scenario service locos which have been programmed with various tasks and destinations are not easily replaced, but much else is, if you know how ! ;)
