Two of our greatest statesmen, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson, took their last breaths on July 4, 1826, exactly 50 years after they presented America with our Declaration of Independence. They had been fellow revolutionaries, the closest of comrades, who went on to become bitter political rivals. Then, as the new era of the 1800s dawned, they reconciled, reminded of their old friendship and the momentous history they had made together. "Who shall write the history of the American revolution?" Adams asked Jefferson in one of the 158 letters they exchanged after they'd rediscovered their bonds. "Nobody," responded Jefferson, suggesting that while writers could understand the facts, they might never grasp the sacrifices.

But more important to Adams and Jefferson was the question of whether future generations would prove worthy of the sacrifices our Founders had made to create this Republic.
As a lifelong Republican, I must say, the answer to this question is hell no. The Bushes/Clintons have done more to obliterate the constitution than all previous administrations combined. And if that wasn't bad enough, the present neo con pukes slaughtered 3000 U.S. citizens on 9/11/2001 thinking the American people are so stupid that they'll believe anything they hear on TV. Al-Qaeda my butt, the only thing hijacked on 9/11 was our liberty. The Bushes are puppets of the U.N. and they have transformed our country into the greatest force for evil the world will ever know. Jefferson was spot on when he predicted the dire straits we are now in.
If the American people ever allow private banks [aka Federal Reserve ]
to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation,
the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will
deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless
on the continent their fathers conquered. - Thomas Jefferson

Care to discuss the evidence?, I doubt either of you could defend the government version of 9/11. You assume, as most do, that such a thing could never happen, well it can, and it did.

No need to debate something as silly as the 911 Troof screed.
Just read this (http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/military_law/1227842.html).
Sorry, no conspiracy, just a terrorist attack...

Popular Mechanics has the smae credibility as that ficticious NIST report.
Still wainting for a Grand Jury and a proper investigation, but it would'nt be a good idea to hold one's breath while doing so.

This doesn't bode well for our future. People will believe anything the corporate media tells them, no matter how absurd it may be. Any lawyer defending a murderer should take note here, ignore the evidence and make your case with catchy little phrases like "break out the tin foil hat", or "yer nutts". Call me crazy but I think crimes should be investigated and since our government did its level best to stonewall this investigation, its to our everlasting shame if we let this stand. Can you cite one piece of actual evidence to support the notion that Osama Bin Laden was involved in the attacks? If you can, you might want to share it with the FBI because they admit they don't have enough to create a 9/11 wanted poster for him. Interestingly, heading the list of the PM article was the "Pods on the Planes" theory, a theory so easily debunked as to be nearly worthless. The smoking gun of 911 is the collapse of WTC7, this building suddenly lost all support simultaneously and fell into the path of most resistance, at virtual free fall speed. Everyone present knew it was going to collapse in advance. Fox news and the BBC reported it's collapse 20 minutes before it even happened. The BBC even knew the cause of the collapse, which is the official story. Since prior to 911, no steel framed structure had ever suffered a total collapse, how could anyone know this information? WTC7's owner Larry Silverstein admitted it was demolished because it was the "smartest thing to do". One eyewitness present heard the actual countdown of WTC7 over a cell phone. If WTC7 was a demolition, then Osama Bin Laden had little or nothing to do with 911. Under the "Widespread Damage" section PM, drawing from a NIST report, claims that "plane debris sliced through the utility shafts at the North Tower's core, creating a conduit for burning jet fuel". Pure nonsense, to get from the ground floor of the North tower to where the plane hit, you would take an express elevator to the sky lobby, and a local elevator to the impact site. How did a great ball of burning jet fuel make this transition?
Demanding answers to these questions isn't "silly" its our God given duty.

Fine, whatever:

I could go on all day.
Next you're going to tell us that they didn't land on the moon, that nuclear power doesn't exist, that the Army bombed the Navy at Pearl Harbor (that's why the Army's planes didn't "respond" to the attack"), and Adolf Hitler's living in a posh apartment on the East Side of Manhattan, upstairs from John Lennon, and downstairs from Elvis who is in the penthouse.

it's all possible, if you believe the Official Conspiracy Theory, that would be the "explanation", fed to us from the get-go.

This doesn't bode well for our future. People will believe anything they read on the internet, no matter how absurd it may be. Any lawyer defending a murderer should take note here, ignore the evidence and make your case with catchy little phrases like "911 Conspiracy", or "fire can't melt steel". Call me crazy but I think crimes should be investigated and since our government did its level best to thoroughly investigate, issued dozens of reports by dozens of departments, and had a number of Congressional hearings on the subject, its to our everlasting shame if we believe what some dufas posted on a website. Can you cite one piece of actual evidence to support the notion that Osama Bin Laden was NOT involved in the attacks? If you can you might want to share it with your Psychiatrist because if you believe enough of this pablum, they're liable to issue a wanted poster for you. Interestingly, heading the list of the PM article was the "Pods on the Planes" theory, a theory so easily debunked as to make one wonder how worthless the rest of the troofers conspiracy theories are.
I could continue, but why waste my time, tell you what, if you two head cases want to debate the 911 Troofer garbage, go ahead, take all the forum space you want, just start your own thread and quit hijacking mine.
Have a nice day! :)

Hey I resemble that comment :D
Seriously, you guys probably are not aware that a BC Human Rights Tribunal was holding hearings against Macleans Magazine (our version of Time) for printing a story about Mark Steyn and printing excerpts from his book. A bunch of Muslim groups were charging that is was hate literature. This wasn’t even a real court case. Eventually Macleans won (thank goodness) …a pretty good editorial about it here: http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2008/06/13/f-rfa-macdonald.html
Hitler wouldn’t like it here much, our PC police are too busy pandering to the special interest groups. You do also realise that Hitler would be 120 years old if he is indeed alive?
As for Elvis …he is alive! He sings Led Zeppelin songs on Karaoke nights at the local Casey’s here in town. :)

That's true, most people don't realize Hitler was born in Austria, and earned German citizenship by fighting joining the German Army in World War 1. The guy had a really fascinating life, and if he's listened to his Generals (Hello, Democrats?), Germany would have probably won WW2.

trainrover, it's probably a waste of pixels to respond to you, but Robert is quite correct in saying Hitler is a fascinating case study. Somehow you must be confusing this with admiration, no doubt because you are too busy spewing mindless incoherent venom to bother finding any new perspectives without preconceptions. It's easy to paint Hitler as some evil monster cartoon character, but if you want to figure out what makes guys like this tick, remember he was human. Try cracking open a book and study the guy. Did you know he was a vegetarian and an animal rights activist? He banned hunting in Germany because he felt is was an inhumane act (much to Hermann Goering's dismay, as he was an accomplished hunter). A little ironic wouldn't you say, considering he is responsible for the deaths of 6 million people in his concentration camps?
Can't you feel the love just oozing from this guy's every pore?
Just remember, he loves us so much he's here to clean the forums up (for our own good I'm sure ;)), as he so boldly stated in another thread. :D

Guys
Bring up Rover's profile and you'll see that of the 26 of his 42 posts in the year since he signed on (the remaining posts must have vanished with the forum switch over) only around 5 are actually train sim related and the remainder are these(mostly) trollish posts here in the yard.
His oldest post is from 2-18-08 and is TS related but then his postings go dormant until 7-4-08 when he showed up here trolling in the yard save for necromancing a few traction forum posts that have been dead since sometime in May on 7-5-08.
Either Rover has gone troll on us or he inadvertantly left his forum info active on a public terminal and someone is trolling in his name.

You can rest assured trainrover is not Otto. As mentioned by Robert, Otto has a much better command of the English language, not to mention a much better attitude and personalty and is far more intelligent.
Whether you like Otto or not, comparing him to this other dufus is completely illogical, and no - I'm not sticking up for Otto. Just stating obvious facts. ;)
