Yes I am working on it.However the list of countries I think I might like is extremely short and it is difficult to move permanantly to either (US because it is so large you can always find someplace to suit and Switzerland which is getting so expensive because of the crap management of the UK economy by Stalin and his successor has lead to the collapse of the sterling/Swiss Franc exchange rate)Sorry,but I think Canada will be too cold for me.The other alternative is New Zealand where my father had friends due to his war service in New Zealand ships.I am saving like crazy and sticking pins in myself to stay on at work for another year or so to let the current economic slump turn into a boom (which it will)

That reminds me of an episode of "Married With Children" where Al Bundy got shafted after beating up a thief robbing his house.

Let me take a wild guess here... if he went to the police and this went to court, the prosecutors would pull out the race and poverty cards to burn you? I wouldn't be surprised if they did. It depends where you live and weather or not your State or local Government has restricted your right of self defense through various gun laws designed to disarm the law abiding citizens.

Where there are states that have right to carry and castle laws - right to use deadly force on an intruder that breaks into your occupied home, the overall crime rate and death by guns is quite low. In the big liberal controlled cities where the right to carry and the possession of a handgun is forbidden, gun related crime is out of control. Criminals know they have little to fear from the homeowner or driver of a car when that person has been disarmed by such laws. You only have to look at the stats in Washington DC to see all of the deaths and crime taking place as a result of criminal use of guns. Nearby Richmond, where gun ownership is not restricted, the crime rate is quite low. And, when there is a mandated 5 year sentence for felony possession of a gun while committing a crime, no plea allowed, many of the criminals in Richmond no longer carry a gun.

I dunno Robert, I agree with Paul the past few winters have been pretty nice, but I guess TO didn't get the dumping we had this winter ...there was a lot of snow here.

Our flag is pretty new, current one only came about in 1964 I think (Paul can correct me). The original design was actually red white & blue, two blue bars (representing the Atlantic & Pacific) with the red maple leaf in the middle. I think it was quite striking, but I think some politicians figured we should pick different colours than the US flag and be more distinct ...conveniently forgetting we were using the Union Jack before it, which just so happens to also be red white and blue.

Mounties wearing red ...I have no idea. Maybe because the British army wore red too? As for the locomotives, I still like to think of them as maroon/gray or olive/delux gold :D

The flag we have now was picked during a Liberal Party sojourn in office. Red was their colour. The blue was rejected for partisan reasons, one being that the Conservative Partys' colour is blue. Despite it being the most popular colour combination,( the blue bars and red maple leaves ) the all red and white is what we ended up with.

Which doesnt bother me as I fly the old Red Ensign anyway!

Hey Robert you might want to look at a map, Toronto is almost straight east from Denver. There's only about 5 degress of latitude difference. And most of our weather is from Milwaukee, so yeah, aint no igloos anywhere close. Last I heard the only place with those now, is in Alaska. My sympathies are with my friends in Buffalo, they know from snow!

Thr problem in this country is that we have general elections where you have to accept all or none of the policies put forward by any particular political party.That is why for several general elections I did not vote because none of them want to do what I think is right for the country. I now vote for the UK Independence Party (UKIP) which generally puts the indigenous population first.It is in favour of leaving the EU (but remaining a trading partner i.e a free market without getting involved with the a "United States of Europe" and applying the UN charter on refugees correctly i.e they must seek asylum in the first safe country they come to.I am happy to receive asylum seekers from Scotland and Wales in England.All the main parties now have virtually the same policy on everything so you have no choice.I have never been consulted via a democratic vote if I wanted this country to become "Multicultural" whatever that means and if I object to mass immigration I am called a "racist" whatever that is.Of course those policies never appeared in the election manifesto of any political party.The majority of people in this country seem to be unaware of what is being done to them or do not care.They are fed a diet of football ( soccer ),pop music and other celebrities and have meekly allowed Stalin to destroy their pensions without so much as a whimper.Now that Stalin's economic policies are producing the results I expected (a big bust)they are getting a little restless but I doubt anything will come of it.

Two World Wars killed off a large percentage of conservatism from their gene pool. The US is going the same way towards liberalism.

It'll just be the MU (Muslim Union, formerly the EU), the NAU (North American Union, formerly Canada, the US, and Mexico), and China in the future. I'm curious who will when in the end, China or the MU? The NAU will obviously be too liberal to fend for itself and just be eaten whole by one or both sides.

Paul,I don't think that's a good comparison.Islam is not part of Europe's overall heritage.Except of course for Spain.But the Moors didn't make it to England.The Spanish however,are part of the fabric of America.I am vehemently against illegal immigration,but I really have no problem with Latinos.

I also don't specifically have a problem with Middle Easterners.The area of NJ I live in has a large population of folks from the Middle East.But this population is divided.I know a lot of Christian Arabs.They have the same basic values as the rest of us.They fled islamic oppression.They embraced America.Then there's the muslims.So what if one out of ten is "OK".The rest are here for other reasons.They hate the country they moved to.Most of the 9/11 hijackers lived in Paterson,NJ for a while.They are the Borg and they wont stop until we are all assimilated.
