Just prior to the release of Upgrade Mk2 comes Isle of Wight Railways from RSDL. I know this isnt everyones cup of tea, but as previously discussed, there are very valid reasons for undertaking this small project.

The latest batch of screenshots has also been uploaded to www.railsimulator.com such as this: http://www.railsimulator.com/files/rs_image/IOW_12.jpg

Great, Adam! I would like to buy my copy of the Isle of Wight Railway!:D Is it going to be released tomorrow?

I also like how there's going to be a little inspection diesel included!:) I thought it was going to be just a tank engine and retro London tube cars for motive power.

I notice different trees and houses. It would have been nice if they were included
in the US and European version. I would also like to know what's fixed in the
MK2 upgrade?

I can only see improvements in each release. Now all my hopes are on MK2, which should put RS on top of today's rail sims ranking.

I looked at your video and also at some of the prototype footage associated by Youtube. You have done a nice job of capturing the feeling of the prototype.

Hi,

The new trees and houses could not have been released in the US/European version as they were created for the IOW route after the other versions releases.

The IOW route uses only a few assets from the core sim (signals posts and heads etc, everything else was created new)

Information on Mk2 will be released soon.

Derek

Nice work RSDL, Dereck, Adam.

Looking forwarded to purchasing the IOW.

The depth of detail, and scenery layouts are really great, and I can appreciate all the hard work and effort for a great product.
