i just downloaded and installed this route and it won't run. It gives me "failed to open texture file routes\whiefish8_RR\envfiles\textures\starsky.ace" and when i ran the bat. file it said 0 files found on all files, when i have all default routes installed any suggestions?

Have you by any chance deleted the TEMPLATE directory (usually NOT a very wise choice)?

nope didn't delete anything. i donwloaded another route just now, and try to run installme.bat and same thing access denied, and when i run as admn. it says 0 file found on all the files, and they are all there.

Make sure you have all 6 default routes installed in order to run install.bat so it can copy stuff from them.

i have all of the defaults installed, i have from the beginning, and if i just run installme.bat i get access denied to the files, if i run as adminitsrator it says 0 files found. i just can't figure it out.

Sounds like a Vista thing, I don't remember what I did to make it work. Hopefully someone will chime in here and explain how to do it.

ok i got it working, i had to go to the route folder properties and set everything to allow, so nothing was denied and the bat files worked. thanks for tryin to help thought i appreciate it.
