Even though a carspawn file comes with the freeware Rollins Pass route, it doesn't appear to work. I never see any moving autos anywhere on the route. I assume that the route was simply built without them.
For one who has never dared to enter the Route Editor, is there an easy way to add autos to this route?

Its because of fuel prices!!! Do you have your World Objects Density in the options turned all the way up?

Rollins Pass was closed and abandoned, track torn up, rather quickly after the Moffat Tunnel was finished in 1917. This would place the Route in the late 19-teens in era. Not too many cars running around in that particular time frame in Colorado, so there probably wouldn't be any. If you wanted a modern version of the route, you'd have to tear up the track over Rollins Pass, and add an awful lot of scenery. As far as an "easy way" to add autos, yes, you'd have to go into the RE and place the carspawners, after you've put in the autos you want to use, and set up the carspawner to run the cars you want. Just make sure you reverse them, you have to grab one end and drag it over the other end, and the little animation that shows which way the cars go is backwards. The car will go the opposite way of the animation. You'll see what I mean if you try it.

I've started to upgrade and extend the route. The new version will probably use carspawn.
EDIT: Yes, the route will have carspawn.

No, the tunnel came in 1928. I've read history books.

In all actuality the tunnel was completed on July 7, 1927, but, you are correct in that the first train did not pass through the tunnel until February 26, 1928. The tunnel took just 48 months to complete. Amazing considering it's length of 6.2 miles. Yet the daily average was 21 feet per 12 hour work day, considering the tunnel was bored through almost nothing but solid rock. There's a lot of interesting information about this tunnel.
