Here is a pic of an AEM7 that I'm working on. Looks good huh? Guys, make those pensy routes, or anything along the Boston to DC route that is electrified. Hope you enjoy.

Ah nothing like the fresh smell of vaporware in the morning,
Seriously dude, i hate doing it to but try and stick to one project LOL
This one looks like its coming along well so stick to it, a dozen half finished models doesnt help anyone.
btw: It looks very good, not at all trying to criticize the model.

Looks to me like you just volunteered...

Like the title says. I'm more into locos right now. I'll wait for NorfolkSouthern37 and LordManuu to release they're locos first. Then i'll ask for pointers and then start releasing. I'm at a perfecting of the locos stage right now. So don't worry folks , there a coming. Too bad the GP 35 isn't released yet. That looked like it was starting to come along quite nicely. Take care everyone.

Could you export for MSTS too? Your models would look great! I can help with lighting if you do release for MSTS.

Like the title says. I'm done with MSTS. KRS is the choice for me. Hope you see it that way too. Take care.

I don't enjoy KRS. I am waiting for MSTS-2 to come out, so I'll stay with MSTS until then. I understand however.

As much as I love your Aem7 Locos. I seriously doubt anyone is going to create such a big route of the NEC at this point in time. KRS isn't going to last that long. (Look at the sales for the past six months). KRS is going to be even in more trouble once MSTS 2 nears its expected opening releases of the new TS. You do better either to release it either on MSTS or just wait for TS2 before releasing that work.
Again your work is great, but the timing is way off. keep up the great work tho.

Remember that TS2 is an ultra-high-end sim. And when I say that, I'm not complimenting it-- it excludes the majority of PC users who don't have $10,000 to throw out on a new rig every time a groundbreaking simulator is released. (Need I mention the current economy problems...) As for making these models backwards compatable, even if the poly count is within MSTS limits, RS is so far above MSTS that it's beside the point of this RS-level 3D work to re-export when there are models made for MSTS detail levels already available. (Pretty much the only reason MSTS is good is the 3rd party content; in RS the default content and graphics/game engine are actually good!)
So by all means keep making things in RS. 3Dmodelers are always more than welcome, they're vital! Those of us who only know simple routebuilding and repainting always appreciate added content to play with.
Now back to topic... That AEM7 looks awesome, and I wish you the best in getting it up and running in the game! It's not a Silverliner, but I'll take SEPTA-repaintable content whenever I can get it!

I'm afraid the AEM7 and GG1 would be put on hold for the time being. I'm making too many models without finising one yet so I have decided to start with my UP SW1500. I'm going to be using LordMannu's F7 truck on this switcher ( which he has so graciously given to me and yes, I know, few SW1500s have GP or F style 65MPH trucks of which UP never used on they're fleet, as far as I know. UP uses a modified version of the Blomberg truck with no spring suspension, which I will model at a later date and re-release the SW). So, for now, SW1500, then OSRX HH GP7, then UP GP20, in that order. Ok guys? Take care.

Is anyone (anyone at all) going to make a New Jersey Transit 101 class electric (repaint of the DB one in the default roster). That would probably be an easy repaint for repaint pros.

Yeah, just about as good as it did when i built it....
C'mon - so, you swapped the grabs and fixed up the horns a bit - you think i wouldn't recognize the rest of the model or something??? Please! I rebuilt that body 3 times, i know every nook and cranny of her. Every mistake and "cut corner" too...

I'm working on UP SW1500 for now. I use pictures from railpictures.net and I also view MSTS models using Shape Viewer as references to making loco models. I'm sorry if my model looks like yours Buzz. I plan to refine it some more later on so as not to upset you. I mean no harm. Take care and have a nice day.

Trackman has been active with an .S file converter...
For the record, that IS Buzz's model with a few minor roof detail changes, just as "your" SW1500 is Mark Toland's model with a few minor details added or taken off in a thinly veiled attempt at hiding the original origins of the model.
You really believe that you can hide the origins of a model by changing a part here or there? It isn't possible. Neither is it possible to attempt to imitate another author's work down to the last poly. Get it close in appearance, yes. Identical, no.
Try making your own stuff for a change instead of ripping off someone else's work as your own.
