For the new simulator in Activity Editor, I would like to be able to stop the simulation and examine the status of signals, switches, and trains. You could select a signal and see aspect, state and speed limit for each head. It could use different symbols for permissive and absolute signals. Selecting a switch would show whether it was manual or automatic and for which track it is currently aligned.
