In some fourms i read that people (Usually newbies like me) have problems getting locomotives to show up, usually resulting in couplers floating above the track, here is a reply i left on thread http://forums.flightsim.com/vbts/showthread.php?p=1418992#post1418992

When I install locomotives i go to:
C:\Program Files\Rail Simulator\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles \Diesel

and then paste or extract the locomotive into the correct folder.

like if you had a ES44 then paste the file containing the cabview Engine folders .Bin files and .XML files ( In this case its BNSF) just paste it in the ES44AC folder AKA "Directory" :D

Rolling stock goes in the
C:\Program Files\Rail Simulator\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles \Freight
Directory, and extracts just like i explained

Copy and paste isn't recommended for RS, unless you ensure that all paths are correct in the relevant Blueprint files.

Be sure youre erasing your blueprints. Theres a tool int he file library that does this for you. If you have the install path correct then this may be the reason.
