Family Lines GP38-2

Hi everyone,
Iam almost finished with a Family Lines GP38-2 that i have been reskinning from Justin Cornells mesh, so here are some shots.
The engine will be released after Justin releases his originals and a custom mesh is done. The engine will also feature a accurate RS5T hornsound. These shots were taken on my Southern Switching route, which is still WIP. Thanks to Justin for letting me reskin and beta his GP38-2, and for use of his PSD files. I plan on also making Seaboard System, SCL, L&N and all variety's of CSX.

Well....thanks to Otto and SAL for the compliments. airbadger try and be a little polite if you cant bother to read the thread, a little compliment not just "where did you get that route"
wouldve been more appropriate. Yes the route is of course mine like i said in the desciption, you cannot get it anywhere at the moment, when i feel like its ready i will release it (along with all the custom reskined items ;) )

Ok a bit of a bump,
Mabye ill get some positive feedback this time :P
Almost completed with a SBD sub lettered version and a little buddy to go along with it :)
The caboose should be available this weekend, the engine whenever the mesh is complete.

I'm getting sick and tired of seeing those euro switch stands in a US route. Any chance someone could make those switch stands? Right now i'm in a bit of a funk and not doing anything in the modeling side of things, I just need to be motivated to do it. Mk2 is out and am testing and complaining to RSDL at railsimulator.com about the release. Also NorfolkSouthern37s GP38-2 is out and enjoying it tremendously:D . It will be a while yet but I guess am asking if others with modeling software could please make US style switch stands. (with target, of course). Take care all, also looking forward to the reskins. (GP reskins, that is).

Can I use your Tie texture for this model? It will make it match your tracks better.

That route is looking good!

I stopped at the Crewe, Va, Railroad museum earlier this month and took 100 or so texture shots. I think I have the right ones for the switch stand but will call for help if I need it. I've got to bite the bullet and figure how to texture my models sooner or later so will do so now. You might have to retexture it later anyway.:D
