I said on this very forum... this VERY forum... ;) that we conservatives were going to have to hold our noses when we pulled the lever for McCain. I watched the Saddleback replay of McCain's portion ... and the other fella too... but I was impressed by McCain. Okay folks... let's first review the forum rules here:
1. "...Myself [moderator] and others are tired of seeing the 08' candidates being bashed on here..."
2. "...If you're for one party, support yours, don't bash those for the other party...."
3. "if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all..."
McCain was quick, witty, passionate, knowledgeable, reflected experience and quite balanced in his presentations. The only thing missing was an American flag behind the guy while he spoke. This was a home run as far as performance goes. And most importantly, he was persuasive. This could change from an election about the other candidate to an election between candidates. :eek:
