I'm currently looking at doing a section of the BC Rail route from North Vancouver up at least as far as Whistler (maybe further, later on) as my next TRS2006 project. I've got the DEM and some excellent 1:50000 TIF maps ready to do the terrain and overlay in Transdem. However so far, my technical research has come up a bit short...
Specifically I'm looking for:
Gradient chart/profile.
Timetable (in the North American sense, what we call in the UK The Sectional Appendix) for speed limits and siding location etc.
Trackplans for major locations.
Some of the detail I can get from Live Local or Google Earth for the Vancouver area but the data goes to low res surprisingly quickly north of Vancouver. Gradients I can make best guess but I prefer to work from the profile if possible.
Any assistance gratefully received.
