Should I report an IP address if the sender is trying to attack my compture I have been geting more and more attemts over the past few days Is there any tips on trying to advoid these attemts. They have been mainly HttP Adobe SWF Remote Code Exec and one Mailicious Toolkit download Activity. Also I had attemt from someone In Raleigh NC from a Country school of all places I beileve I should report that one so they can stop any further incedents. I have not been able to find the other attacking IP's any ideas? Nortan Blocked them all.

You should be able to report them but to who, I don't know. If your PC is doing a good job blocking them. You should be ok, just don't let your guard down. ;)

I won't let it down, Ive been wondering who to report that Raleigh School one as well. I bet it would be hard to trace it since it might be used by many kids. Ive been noticing that I get back from DC and they all hit in one week alone, why is that? Before its been quiet.

May I suggest something? Disconnect your PC from the internet (and network if you have one) and do a complete anti spyware and malware scan of your system, You might be able to find the culprit that's calling something from that school. You might have a spyware that Norton might not detect in your system.

That would be "whom."
And "whom" is www.arin.net/whois (http://www.arin.net/whois)
Put in the offending IP address, you'll find their ISP (internet service provider) and an address to report abuse to, such as abuse@aol.com etc,.
It also works well for reporting spam, if it comes from within the US.
If you get an Asian or Netherlands ISP, forget about it, that's where most of the garbage originiates from.
