As long as you are the author of the original content, you might be able to re-export the content and put it into the game.

If you have FSX you should be able to take the SDK and put the model into the game.

My guess is that if you cant run MSFS-X. You wont be able to run MSTS-X.

Also, If I remember correctly, I heard them say that the requirements will be slighty higher than MSFS-X sim.
