I periodically have RS crashing by way of a Windows error display. In this case the AppVer=1.2.00, Modname:ntdll.dll, ModVer 5.1.2600.5512, Offset 0028beb. They seem to occur at random times with no preceeding event pattern.

I just did a reinstall of RS about 45 minutes ago (errors before also). I have been trying to understand very simple AI scenarios involving one train on one track with multiple destinations. This is the second day where, at times, the scenario fails to be saved or the destinations are not saved. This is a simple one track and three destinations. Well that is not the point of the msg since RS once again failed to desktop level.

I also, reinstalled XP/SP3 due to "glitch" (whatever that is) where the Windows file suddenly had its size reduced to 1mb. Nasty stuff - toy computers, toy programs. Self-flagalation (glutton for punishment) messing with this stew. Will reinstall Flight Simulator to satisfy myself that I do not have a "system" problem. Another hour of wasted time there.

All I want to do is build some AI activity in a yard and add-in signals to develop an understanding of what I might be able to do if RSDL ever allows us to couple/uncouple AI assets. Probably wasting my time but after a run with FSX over Hawaii with 30centimers/pixel resolution photo scenery I will try again.

Can't help you with the crashing, sorry. With the save problem, in general when adding/ amending commands etc you have to make sure that the properties window is closed before trying to save. If you don't then that can cause the problem of changes not being saved.

All the flyouts were closed in this case. Going through the usual 4 hour install of the FSX simulator now. with 17gb of data and one big 1gb addon, plus others, it takes time. If it runs ok then I have confidence in the system (somewhat of an oxymoron).
