I have the MK1 previously installed and have the UK version with the NA add-on installed. Tried to upgrade to MK2 and get this screen (see screen capture)

Hi Arthur,
I had this problem too, I have know idea why it does this. What I did, I had about four
backup folders of RailSimulator and I had to copy the Railsim.exe and RailSimEditor.exe
from the backup folder to the Rail Simulator folder. All of the backup was MK1. If you
don't have backups, I don't know what to tell you.

Yes, Tom said it.
To install the MARK-2 update you must have the MARK-1 4726 Kb - 8.Feb.2008 - RailSim.exe in the installed from DVD Rail Simulator folder !

Thanks, Tom and Otto! I had the needed backups and was able to install MK2.
For a while I was not gonna bother with MK2 with all the problems with the Alps route. Looked around after the installation and see no earth shaking improvements!
