Well its that time of year again, and I was working on my Speedway route when I come to the realization. Whats a route in the south without a high school football field????
Well here is the end result. A generic southern high school football stadium
Enjoy and I will upload tonight,
Randy

Interesting. It seems to be about 115 yards? Also, it looks like an extra effort is needed to get a first down when rushing at mid-field.
Its always good to see something new for MSTS!

I was not generally concered with the exact layout of the field, just threw something together. The few places that it will be located on my route sets a ways off the track. Now if I could just ever figure out Night Textures and add some stadium lights I would be set.
Thanks,
Randy

That's easy, just make the lights, have a seperate object for the light lenses, set it as BlendaTexDiff with AlphaTrans test mode on!

Dimensions for goal posts are available at http://www.draperinc.com/Football/5-GooseneckGoalpost.htm. Are you using Train Sim Modeler? Attached is a model with the texture from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_football

Thanks for the updated field, I added it to my stadium then adjusted the color to better match the surrounding area.
Now to do some work with stadium lightning.
Thanks again,
Randy

You are going to create a marching band to go with it, right?

The field and stands look very nice. I love the way the visitors bleachers are always smaller and not as nice as the home team bleachers. Such is life.
Marching band? How about cheerleaders?
