Yep, that's right! The school said their own uniforms for their own cheerleaders were too short to wear in class. But perfectly OK to wear during performances, games, rallies, etc.

Ummm, OK...

The same nanny society the refuses to let a 9 yr old play on his little league team up here in CT because he pitches too good. When I was in little league we had a pitcher that was just as good and fast and back then it was no problem.

Please don't tell me the reason was because it kill the self-esteem of the losing team?

Was it CT or MA that banned keeping score at soccer games so the loosing team would not loose any self esteem?

I think the pitching icident was more because he would not play for the "A team". The coach of the A team then triggered the mess basicaly as a means of revenge. At least thats what I heard.

This is probably to keep the male students concentrating on class instead of, well, you know :)

They could be fully clothed and I'd still have my attention fully drawn away from classwork...

Of course, back in the day, students knew that cheerleading outfits were inappropriate during the school day, and they didnt act out in a way that created a need for nanny rules.

Where are the parents in all this?
