WOW, it's like a bowling alley down in Cuba. Here is Tropical Storm Hanna... Map will update..

As always, this map will update several times a day...

And as a favor to me, and the rest of us, Children, please, keep the Republican bashing in this storm thread to a minimum, so that it WON"T be locked...

I hope they will keep the politics out of this one. Sorry Andy but I had to locked the other one since they violated the rules.

They= any members is what I meant. Doesn't matter if it's left or right winger. ;)
Let's get back to the subject of TS Hanna, please?

At least, it appears that the locals have learned their lesson from Katrina. They are now fleeing New Orleans in mass and this time they have been allowed to take their pets.

It looks real bad for New Orleans and all of the Louisiana delta, what is left of it, as Gustav explodes into a super hurricane. The Cuban tobacco crop is being blown away at this moment by 150 mph sustained winds.

For the politics end of this storm, go to Hawk's Forum.

BTY, the weather underground links have always been excellent.

I alerted you guys yesterday about it ,however I did request that you give a warning instead of closing the thread since it is rather important info in there.

Can't they remove the offending post and then leave it open? I thought they could do that, maybe not.

We could use some rain up here but not 2 feet at a time. Scary stuff.

Evidently not Bob.....People can have a nice conversation, ONE political comment, and we ALL get tossed out on the street.

Go to Drudge Report. Check the links over there about the two hurricanes. Then, check out the related political ones. Unbelievable new low. Enough Said.

Looks like Florida is going to be dumped on with way too much rain again.

Yea at this rate we may be called Soggy FL . But this is not going to help out CSX sence FL is covered in CSX and New Orleans is part of CSX ( I think ) . This is going to hurt the Sunset Limited .
