View Full Version : KRS add-ons not working. What's wrong?

I have recently downloaded and installed several add-ons available from this site. For some reason I can't get them to work. In particular, vv-thorn, lngpul100, and lngpul101 dont show up in my list of scenarios to choose from. Bnsf38 isn't visible to place on tracks while editting/creating scenarios.

I can't help you with the scenarios, but for the GP38, have you set the object filter for the author that created it?

I would have to say no for the fact that I do not know what that is.

Which route are they for, the B-SB ?

There seems to be a problem with some *.rpk files being installed by the RSPackager, making later additions invisible !

Zip it's Scenarios.bin file and attach it to your next post so that I can check it, fix it and return it.

Have you downloaded a Bnsf38 add-on ? If you have not then it will not show in the locos list !

Need some help. I have the GP38 up and running, (fine locomotive) and thank you to the creator. But I'm having trouble accessing certain rolling stock. In particular, The container pack with different logo's for Cajon US. I was told when you load the car in a new scenario, it shows up as an empty double stack flat car, which you manuelly load by the cranes in San Bernie. I seem to remember that the default showed up with a container on it. It shows the different containers around the yard, but not on any cars. BTW, The new patch loaded and seems to work fine.

In RS, the trucks never come as pre-loaded.

Okay and thanks, I guess. The question is, how do I load the different containers (like APL)to my double stack flat cars? And not just the three random choices that are offered from the crane loaders in San Bernie, plus I want to save them for another time.

I finally got the long pull scenario running. I was getting the dreaded serz.exe error when trying to install. Did a quick search on the board and found several solutions.

The only problem now is that all the other scenarios listed on the San Bern-Barstow route have disappeared.

It would appear that the by the RSPackager installed "Long Pull" scenarios.bin has wiped out the existing one, or it has been added to the top of the scenarios list in that file, a missing closing </cScenarioProperties...... line making all after it invisible.

Attached is my copy, which will however overwrite any new scenarios you may created yourself or have installed before the "Long Pull" !

Do you BACK-UP your Rail Simulator before making changes to it ?
