Darkness of the shadows

Hello,

When I play rail simulator I can't hardly see any details of the parts that are in the shadows. Is there anyway to make the shadows lighter?

Nothing to do with your problem, but your title "Darkness of the Shadows" sounds great for a horror movie!

Hi Rutger,

Not that I know of. Someone else may have a way. I have experimented with brightening the "BackFill" and "UpLight" colors in the TimeOfDay file but they don't seem to put much color into the shadows.

Turning off shadows altogether brightens up the surface considerably, though then you have no shadows at all.

You might try increasing the overall brightness in the Options panel if that doesn't make the overall look too bright.
