LOL Down past half way in the artical...

Hattie Callan, 36, weaved her way down the street Sunday, a vodka drink already in her hand and it only 9:20 in the morning......

..."I've got liquor, cash, food, ammo and weed," she said as she floated out of sight...

:D

And probably one of the least healthy. :(

Yeah, I like bacon myself, but I keep it to a once a month BLT for the sake of my health AND my wallet. I couldn't afford it more often even if it was perfectly healthy.

One of my dad's favorite pastimes was eating bread soaked in bacon fat. Probably one of the reasons he had two heart attacks (the second one fatal).

Don't tell me. Let me guess. You cook it in an electric skillet?

Yea, that is why is said "MOST perfect" it does have a dark side. :) But my gosh....it can be so delicious, and it is so useful for OTHER things as well.

You can snack on it by itself,
Make a sandwich out of it,
Put it on a burger,
Put it on a salad,
Wrap it around a steak,
Give a dog a treat with it,
Insult Islam with it, Keeps the followers of Mohammad away
Make gravy out of the grease,
Put it on a potato,
Put it IN potatoes
Use it as bait (for dogs, men, girlfriends etc..etc..)
The Smell will wake up a house, faster than coffee.

Gosh, this list could go on, and on... :)

Nope, just a regular frying pan over a gas stove. I generally like it crispy, so I'll drain off the fat periodically.

Actually it's not bacon that's unhealthy. There's a couple of things that do make bacon unhealthy though.
The main thing that makes bacon unhealthy is the addition of nitrates added to preserve color and slow rancidity.
Believe it or not, cooking bacon in a microwave can greatly reduce the affects of nitrates, as well as frying bacon over a low heat and cooking it to a crisp state, then letting the fat drain off by placing it on a paper towel.
Frying bacon over a high heat, thus crisping it quickly, will not null the effects of the added nitrates, hence making bacon unhealthy.

Naturally, Andy,

Bacon is one of the five food groups, as are ice cream and chili peppers!

* Does My Best Impression Of Homer Simpson " Bacon ahaauulk " Wipes Drool from bottom lip *

If I had bacon in the house I would have bacon and eggs in the mornin since it's been a few weeks since I've had bacon last.

Good thing my town doesn't have a Wendy's I'd be living off of Baconators until I got sick of em or had to go for a quadrupole by-pass.

I've only ever had 2 of them having to stand in line for about 15mins in a Wendy's in Red Deer Alberta to get em but it was well worth it :D The best burger I have ever tasted out of a fast food joint.

I chuckle every time I see the Wendy's commercial In Canada where this lady offers a guy she is sitting with a bite of her salad and the guy says no thanks I am a Meatitarian that pretty much describes my diet.

Meat and Potatoes pretty much and when people hear about my diet they always say that I'll be paying for it sometime down the road. I take a bunch of different vitamin capsules and drink fruit juices as an attempt to fill in the gaps in my diet. Feelin good and have almost perfect attendance at work ( the odd cold once a year and take the day off sick so i don't spread it to my work mates ) so it can't be all that bad.

It drives me nuts when I run into Vegans and they come off like their crap don't stink. I am like the anti-vegan :D

I love meat, Wild meat is damn good too. Grouse season is only 13 more "sleeps" away until opening day (For Ontario Canada ). Can hardly wait to take my soon to be 1 year old German Short Haired Pointer out for her first hunting season. I've done some training with her and pointing is obviously natural to these kind of dogs, just a matter of her just pointing and not flushing the bird until I am ready. I'll be taking it easy on her for sure and not expect her to know it all or do everything perfectly. All that matters is being out there, being safe, having fun and not expecting to fill a freezer..

I'm personally not a fan of a vegan or even vegetarian diet. I'll grant that Americans probably eat more meat than is good for them, but that doesn't mean cutting meat completely is a good thing. Moderation is the key. Vegans rave about how healthy their diet is, yet you never hear them talk about the loads of supplements they need to take to replace nutrients normally found in meat. I've even had to take B12 myself to reduce inflammation as a result of eating less meat than I used to. I went from having meat perhaps 5 times a week, usually at dinner, to once or twice, on account of the price. Like I said, all things in moderation. Bacon occasionally isn't going to kill anybody.

I eat what I want. When I want to. Yep, I'm overweight, have been my entire life.

There is a 100% chance that something will cause me to die someday. Hmmm, you know, statistically speaking, that's exactly the same risk of death for a vegan, healthfood nut, or cholestoral watcher!
