Unless you like living with your head stuck in the sand, there has been an uncivil war raging in this country that continues to escalate to an insane levels. It has festered into violent protest, slanderous accusations, mindless name calling, censorship in The Yard, and the threat of violence. Because this country has split 50 50 into factions supporting of the achievers and the non achievers, one side will soon escalate it into break in, vandalism of property, intimidation of individuals, outright fraud, and violence against individuals as they have done at least twice in the past.

The stakes continue to escalate as huge sums of money, collected legally and illegally continue to pour in the coffers of the two sides. It has lately deteriorated to the point where the leaders of one side have become willing to sacrifice the economic freedom and security of the nation in order to achieve their goal of total control.

Sadly, that same side has willing allies in the media that continue to hide their agenda while slandering their opponent, a few filthy rich foreigner that are bankrolling those attacks, and an enemy that is more then willing to see the destruction of this country and its citizens regardless of who wins in November.

It will be a small miracle if by this time next year, no very important person gets murdered, riots don't break out in the streets, martial law doesn't get declared indefinitely, widespread censorship doesn't get put into effect, our economy doesn't get plunged into economic ruins worse then what is occurring in Michigan, and we don't get attacked by the Terrorist.

How you respond to this uncivil war this November will determine your future for years to come, perhaps, the rest of your life. The only winners, at present, are the lawyers who are already filing the slander lawsuits against individuals and various media outlets and the advertising agencies that are preparing the propaganda from both sides in this uncivil war.

This post will last as long as things remain civil, or until one side PMs a mod in order to silence the bright light now shining on their hidden agenda.

Excellent post, Ron!

Anyone that watched - AND LISTENED - to Sarah Palin last night and didn't come away impressed with this woman, just isn't interested in the future of this country. I only hope the media gives her the coverage she deserves.

It is a historical cycle. Rome, Ancient China, Mongolia, Spain, Holland, France, the Ottomans, England and now the US. The only part to be determined is how fast and far the slide will be and how violent it will become. There are many ways for this to play out but in my opinion the American age is coming to an end.

Ummm, I’ll wade in before this gets locked.
I think people are being a little over dramatic, regardless who wins in November it won’t be the end of the world.
As Canada looks to have an election now this fall I have to say I feel sorry for you, your choices are both bad.
Regardless who wins, the PTB will still be the ones in charge of your country.
I wish you all the best.
