I know this could go with so many other started threads,just couldn't pick one.

A combination of MSTS 1 And improved 2

Hopefully the new sim has something like this:

You pull your train up to a siding to set a car out

MSTS 1:
F9
Click on cars to set brakes
click on the coupler to uncouple
set car out
come back to train
click to release brakes
ect. ect.

you get the idea

MSTS 2

View car to set the brake on.
Actually Highlight the brake to be set
click and watch it animate
next Highlight the release lever (pin lifter)
Click and watch animate
set out car
ect.ect.

Hopefully it has a combo of the 2 for quick action and more detailed action. And no I don't what to see the animated brakeman get up and do it.

I think that type of animation is more appropriate to see as opposed to cars loading and unloading (which often takes place hours later). I don't think you'll see it unless it's a surprise though. No add-on would make it possible either.

One suggestion I have is your conductor/switchman call out to you the distances. That is how it is done in real life. Has anyone suggested this yet?
