Just wondering, do pacific surfliner trains bound for Santa Barbara terminate in Santa Barbara or Goleta?

the amtrak schedule confuses me

The Pacific Surfliners bound for SBA (Santa Barbara) terminate in GTA (Goleta). This began in 1999 when Amtrak finished their small servicing track with a wash rack and the platform that was built south of it. Not very many people got on and off at GTA, but there are those times of the year where LA bound trains get packed by the time they leave SBA. GTA is actually the destination for the monthly trip I take to get shots of the Starlight. It's always a fun trip coming on back 784 then taking the #4 (The Chief) for a short trip from LA to Riverside.

I may have some photos of the Surfliner 763 finishing up from LA then going through the wash rack. Will look for those in a bit.

But to answer your question simply....Goleta.
