Through all of this caught on security camera, no one tried to stop the attack or would come to the aid of the victim afterwards.
Proof that we need hammer control.:D
That people are limited to purchasing no more then two hammers a month.
That all hammers have to be registered with the police.
That you must file for a permit, be subjected to a background check, and go through a two week waiting period before being allowed to purchase a hammer.
That taxes be levied on hammers and nails to discourage their use
That nails be tagged with microscopic serial numbers.
That hammer free zones be created so that such attacks no longer happen.
That hammers be separated from their handles while in the home and that the head and handle be kept locked in separate places in the home in hammer and handle safes.
This is no isolated case either as locally two employees were killed and the pharmacist, that I personally know, badly injured in a hammer assault. Also, an escapee from the Caro Regional Center, attacked employees later that day with a hammer.
There are 27 million other examples;

It is also time to ban the import of sledge hammers from China even though claw hammers are the choice of criminals when used in hammer assaults.
