Most switches in Standard Scenarios are Automatic and can not be used by the player but can in Freeroam ones.

I am thinking that the scenario file might be corrupt, no crashes on other's I have run so far.

I Get an error also, pulled close to a buffer (Few feet) got that error "RailWorksProc" thing. Restarted again then got the freight cars I needed and tried to get on the main line and couldn't do spent a half hour figuring out how to get on the main. I thought I would back up to the other end of the yard for a way out and got half way and got another error same one "RailWorksProc" and went to the desktop. Those automatic switches should have been manual. I don't know what's with that "RailWorksProc" error it must have a bug somewhere and don't know what its purpose is.

There is a way onto the mainline - after coupling, proceed straight ahead and you will see a jog to the left, the switch for which does not appear on the Key 9 view - throw the switch to go left, and once the back of the train passes the switch, reverse until you find the junction to merge on to main line.
However, consistently get CTD after 35 minutes (approx.) of running this scenario. Have a request in to support. |

I found a way to fix the "Into the misty" scenario on the Hagen to Siegen
route. If you carry out these eight steps below, then the scenario won't crash after 15 minutes of play. This is what i did to fix the scenario: 1: Open the scenario in the scenario editor. 2: Select the Driver icon on the player-locomotive and press <del> on the keyboard. 3: Select the player-locomotive and press <del> on the keyboard. 4: Press F2 and save the scenario. 5: Open the Editor Toolbox Tab on the top-left corner of the screen. 6: Press multiple times on the 'Undo' button until the player locomotive and all the icons above the locomotive are back. 7: Double-click on the Driver-icon and make it player-driveable again by checking the 'Player-consist'-box. 8: Save the scenario again. (By pressing F2 or by clicking on the Play-button). Now you will be able to finish the scenario without a crash when passing Hagen Gate 9 This solution is also mailed to support@railsimulator.com I hope they include it in their next RailWorks update. |

I was searching the whole week for a solution, and your fix did it.
I also contacted railworks and only got the standard answer "thank you for contacting railsimulator.com" Thank you very much. Erik from Antwerp/Belgium.
