I have the IFLY 737 and wow what a thrill it is to fly it like the real thing! Ok almost like the real thing. The fact of the matter is this. For many years I was happy with PMDG and their series of 737 and had grown found of them, Well when the IFLY was being announced I was interested in what they had to offer and boy was I blown away. I mean here is pmdg and now IFly with a setup that make em feel like a real 737 captain. I have to 2.1 release and it flys great.
I have always love Cessna aircraft ever since I was young and have spent about 15 hours in one. thou I am unable to complete my ticket at this time due to finances and other obligations, I still love Cessna for the simple way they build planes. the Cessna 172 is my favorite and I enjoy it very much.
Years ago I had the chance to buy this bird and passed it up. Why? one I was not interested in military at that time and I was still learning the ropes of aviation and all things related. Now that it is freeware i am ashamed to admit how dumb i was to be so narrow minded about my decision.
Well now that it is freeware I am flying it like no tomorrow and enjoying myself greatly. Now all I have to do is learn how to paint this bird to my liking and maybe upload to the rest of the world to see.
I am in the middle of a complete reinstall of win 7 due to a bad dll that is needed by WAT to keep me legal and now as I sit here poundering the pain on a reinstall i am sure that this is due to a bad install program that crashed a few weeks back. well for one thing i will not use trhat program or install it again.
Today i am going to be flying a 1976 Piper Dakota and will be sharing my thoughts on how it flies as well as my own viewpoints on payware. I hope to have some screen shots soon so that i may show you what flying is like for me in the virtual world.
