  4. FSX KLM Vliegschool Beechcraft Baron 58 New version

  7. FSX DC-3 India Early Airlines - 3 Repaints

These three repaints for the default Microsoft FSX DC-3 represent the beginnings of airline commercial aviation in India. JRD Tata started the first airline in India and is considered the father of India's aviation.
You will need the default Microsoft FSX DC-3 installed to use these repaints.
These repaints are for Tata Airlines, Maharashtra Airlines (an early regional line), and an early paint scheme for India Airline Corporation (which later became Air India).
The following link is provided to learn more about JRD Tata.

  8. FSX/P3D Continental Convair CV-440

FSX/P3D Continental Convair CV-440. Part of the CalClassic Archive Project. Belatedly intended to compete with the Vickers Viscount, the CV-440 Metropolitan made its airline debut with Continental in March 1956. With a significant maximum weight increase this allowed the CV-440 to make full use of 145 Octane AVGAS in R-2800 engines configured as CB-17s. Weather radar in an extended nose became optional. The earlier, less than fully successful and noisy, twin exhaust thrust augmentation system gave way to a much quieter single wide exhaust. Of the 199 built just over 150 went to airlines. Military and naval designations were C-131D/E/F and R4Y-2. One hundred civilian and military CV-340s were then upgraded to a similar standard. This is the FSX/P3D CV-440 Base Pack, add other liveries to this package.  Requires the FSX/P3D CV-340 Base Pack for panel and sounds. By Greg Pepper, Tom Gibson, Wayne Tudor, and FSAviator

  9. FSX/P3D United Air Lines Convair CV-340

FSX/P3D United Air Lines Convair CV-340. Part of the CalClassic Archive Project. The CV-340 made its debut with United Air Lines in November 1952. It had little in common with the CV-240, having a much larger wing and a longer fuselage to lift more weight. Improved transonic characteristics allowed it to cruise higher despite its greater useful load, surface area and drag. The larger CV-340 was more profitable then the CV-240, but when also powered by R-2800-CB16 engines it needed longer runways due to its greater weight. Of the 311 built, 102 were military transports for the USAF and USN under the designations C-131B/D and R4Y-1. Includes model, panel, and sounds.  This is the FSX/P3D CV-340 Base Pack, add other liveries to this package. By Greg Pepper, Tom Gibson, and FSAviator

  10. FSX/P3D Western Air Lines Convair CV-240 CB-16

FSX/P3D Western Air Lines Convair CV-240 CB-16. Part of the CalClassic Archive Project. The post war CV-110 unpressurized thirty seat DC-3 'replacement' was poorly timed, but AAL invited Convair to develop it into a pressurized 2 engine 40 seat CV-240 creating the first pressurized twin engine airliner. The CV-240 made its debut with American Air Lines in June 1948, but only 171 of the 556 CV-240s built were for airline use, the remainder were varieties of T-29 flying classroom and 26 x C-131A Samaritan air ambulances for the USAF and USCG. By the end of 1952 the CV-240 was giving way to the much stronger, heavier, and larger winged CV-340. This version has flight dynamics for the Pratt & Whitney R-2800 CB-16 engine. This is the FSX/P3D CV-240 CB-16 Base Pack, add other liveries to this package.  Requires the FSX/P3D CV-240 CA-18 Base Pack for panel and sounds.  Provides updated flight dynamics for the VBF CV-240s. 17. FSX/P3D 1956 Pan American Douglas DC-7C Seven Seas

FSX/P3D 1956 Pan American Douglas DC-7C Seven Seas. Part of the CalClassic Archive Project. The Douglas DC-7C Seven Seas in Pan American World Airways colors, circa 1956 to 1958.  Pan American needed an aircraft that was able to fly non-stop transatlantic services, even westbound with average winds (their current DC-7B service usually required a stop).  Douglas responded by stretching the fuselage by 42 inches and, more importantly, lengthening the wings by inserting a 5 foot extension at each wing root.  This gave the new DC-7C Seven Seas (in a clever pun on "7C") not only more room for fuel, but placed the engines further out on the wing, lessening the noise and vibration of the rather loud Wright R-3350 radials.  More powerful engines of 3400 hp each were fitted to the DC-7C, and all these improvements stretched the range to 5635 miles, allowing non-stop routes never before possible with Douglas aircraft.  The first Seven Seas service was introduced by Pan American on June 1, 1956, and a total of 121 DC-7C's were eventually delivered to the airlines. This is the FSX/P3D DC-7C Base Pack, add other DC-7C liveries to this package.  Requires the FSX/P3D DC-7 Base Pack for panel and sounds. FSX Air Flamenco Britten-Norman BN-2A Mk III Trislander. Air Flamenco is a small fleet based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which connects the main island with the smaller ones of Vieques and Culebra. They may occasionally fly to the US and British Virgin Islands. There are nine BN-2, three Shorts and a Trislander active to this date. This texture for Air Flamenco Trislander N920GD completes my previous Air Flamenco fleet (AIR_FLAMENCO_FLEET_2021.ZIP). Requires Michael Pearson's base model MPAI_BN2AM3_TRISLANDER_TRAFFIC.ZIP. The model should be compatible with FSX up to P3Dv3. Please refer to modeler's documentation. I've also added flight plans based on Flightradar24's and other websites. They are not 100% accurate but should provide an idea of the recent traffic. By Freddy Guerra.
