The Bedford OL, was a 3-ton 4x2 truck ("lorry" in U.K.) built by Bedford Vehicles (subsidiary of Vauxhall Motors, Luton, which is a subsidiary of American General Motors) in 1939. Saw service in the 30s and World War II, before of OY military version the same truck. This file are includes RAF (open, canvas, and fuel truck) and civilian (open and canvas) versions. Now with some corrections on fender's shape, canvas, and new textures. The Opel Blitz was a 3 ton, 4x2 & 4X4, german truck, that saw service in World War II and post-war. On this file are includes wheeled and tracked version of cargo, ambulance, and crane, built on the Opel Blitz chassis. This half-tracked version, equipped with crane, was used by the Luftwaffe ground crews in maintenance duties.     CFS Macro--Ford G917T, CFS version of a WWII ground vehicle. The Ford G917T was the German version, 1938-dated, of American Ford 3-ton 1938 truck. This model was patterned from USA 1938 Ford. But main outer difference of German Ford is one-piece windscreen. Central vertical bar of the grille of German Ford has equal thickness everywhere, US Ford has more thick upper part of it. Driven by either 3.6 (G917T) or 3.9 (G997T) liter V8 flathead engine. During WWII, some 25,000 produced from 1939-1942 at Cologne Ford Motor Co. plant. The German Luftwaffe also used these version of Ford G917T as fuel truck for aviation fuel transport (shown here). Includes three versions of this truck, with and without canvas, and fuel truck.     CFS Macro--Ford 1940 Fire Truck (USA). The Ford Fire Truck 1940, was a fire engine built on American Ford 3-ton chassis that saw service in World War II. American and German Ford 3-ton cargo trucks had the characteristic prow-shaped grille of the 1940 series, which replaced the oval-shaped grille of 1938 model. They were powered by V-8 3.9L engines producing roughly 90 HP. The main outer difference of USA Ford is the two-piece windshield (instead the one-piece windshield on German Fords). By Edmundo Abad.

The Chevrolet Class 135 was equipped with a gas engine driven, truck front mounted, centrifugal pump of 60 gallons of capacity (W. S Darley Co. 100 GPM at 500 PSI).     CFS Macro--Ford V-3000 Fix. New version of German Ford V-3000, with correction in the cab shape. The Ford V-3000 was the German version, 1941-dated, of American Ford 3-ton truck. During WWII, the German Wehrmacht used these trucks in abundance, as they represented nearly 17% of the German trucks produced during the war, second only to the Opel Blitz in terms of numbers. The German designation was the V-3000, and the American-produced versions are nearly identical to the German-made ones. During WWII, the German Luftwaffe also used these Ford V-3000s as truck tractor with semi-trailer for aviation fuel transport. Also, includes an additional eight versions of the 3 ton truck, and the tractor with semi-trailer, on sand-yellow and blue-gray Luftwaffe colors By Edmundo Abad.

    CFS Macro--Hikawa Maru - Liner/Hospital ship. Hikawa Maru was a Japanese ocean liner that Yokohama Dock Company built for Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha ("NYK Line"). She was launched on 30 September 1929 and made her maiden voyage from Kobe to Seattle on 13 May 1930. During WW2, Hikawa Maru was converted into a hospital ship, and after Japan surrender, she repatriated thousands of Japanese soldiers and civilians from lost territories until August 1946. Hikawa Maru was one of three Hikawa Maru class motor ships. Her two sister ships, both lost in the Second World War, were Heian Maru and Hie Maru. Today Hikawa Maru is permanently berthed as a museum ship at Yamashita Park, Naka-ku, Yokohama.     CFS Macro--Caio Duilio - Andrea Doria-Class. Caio Duilio was an Italian Andrea Doria-class battleship that served in the Regia Marina during World War I and World War II. She was named after the Roman fleet commander Gaius Duilius. During World War II, Caio Duilio participated in numerous patrols and sorties into the Mediterranean, both to escort Italian convoys to North Africa and in attempts to catch the British Mediterranean Fleet. In November 1940, the British launched an air raid on Taranto; Caio Duilio was hit by one torpedo launched by a Fairey Swordfish torpedo bomber, which caused significant damage. Repairs lasted some five months, after which the ship returned to convoy escort duties. A fuel shortage immobilized the bulk of the Italian surface fleet in 1942, and Caio Duilio remained out of service until the Italian surrender in September 1943.     CFS Macro--Town-Class Destroyer. The Town-class destroyers were warships transferred from the United States Navy to the Royal Navy and the Royal Canadian Navy in exchange for military bases in the Bahamas and elsewhere, as outlined in the Destroyers for Bases Agreement between Britain and United States, signed on 2 September 1940. They were known as "four-pipers" or "four-stackers" because they had four smokestacks (funnels). Later classes of destroyers typically had one or two. The texture file shows the HMS "Campbeltown".     CFS Macro--Tribal-Class Destroyer. The Tribal class was a class of destroyers built for the Royal Navy, Royal Canadian Navy, and Royal Australian Navy, that saw service in World War II. As some of the Royal Navys most modern and powerful escort ships, the Tribal class served with distinction in nearly all theatres of World War II. Only a handful of Royal Navy Tribals survived the war, all of which were subsequently scrapped from hard use, while Commonwealth Tribals continued to serve into the Cold War, serving with distinction in the Korean War.     CFS Macro--Exeter - York-Class Heavy Cruiser. HMS Exeter was a York-class (HMS York ans HMS Exeter) heavy cruiser of the Royal Navy that served in World War II. She fought against the German pocket battleship Admiral Graf Spee at the 1939 Battle of the River Plate, suffering extensive damage that caused a long refit. Having been rebuilt, she was sent to the East Indies where she was sunk by the Japanese on the Second Battle of the Java Sea in 1942.
