Battle For Midway Missions and Campaign for Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2

This is a completely updated and revamped package of Abacus Publishing's "Battle For Midway" add-on for Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2.

There were *NUMEROUS* mission bugs and typographical errors contained throughout the entire package. Some of the bugs and errors were so severe that some of the missions would completely crash and lock up the simulator, or they could not even be completed (especially in the Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2 version, which was simply a conversion of the missions by Abacus Publishing of their Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 1 missions).

This edited and repackaged version of Battle For Midway for Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2 fixes all of that! All of the mission bugs and typographical errors have been corrected and fixed, and all of the converted Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 1 aircraft in the missions that were included with the Abacus Publishing package have been substituted with similar stock aircraft that ship with Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2.

CFS2 Night Missions Mod. Includes files that will enhance night missions, without drastically effecting your frame rates. Alternate Object_DPs for the stock *American Willys Jeep "amjeep" (veh) and *Tent Round "tent_rnd" (inf) will allow you in the Mission Builder to place small 'effect areas' for way finding and/or to develop large areas simulating urban spaces undergoing a heavy bombing raid. The 'Extra' effects attached to the objects will produce randomly sized, timed and placed flashes, fires and smoke. By delaying entry times of the (veh) object you can determine when they appear in the mission and/or simulate these effects to multiply, spread or merge with others. File set includes: alternate Object_DPs, completely new (and very low LOD/res) effect files, screen shots, demo mission and instructions.
