FS2004/FSX/P3D LORAN Gauge

FS2004/FSX/P3D LORAN (LOng RAnge Navigation) gauge. Long before GPS, a method was developed to be able to navigate on long overwater flights without the issues of weather and visibility involved with celestial navigation. LORAN was originally used during WWII to assist the Allies in bombing raids and in transport duties. It was later used by the airlines to navigate across the oceans. This gauge from CalClassic simulates the operation of the AN/APN-4 instrument of WWII vintage, complete with peak alignment and reading the time delay values from the oscilloscope screen. It uses the station pairs included on the coverage map from 1954, but can be used in any era from WWII to around 1975. Installation instructions include adding the gauge to the JBK DC-6, CalClassic DC-6 and DC-7, and the Manfred Jahn L-749 Constellation, L-1049G Super Constellation, and the L-1649A Starliner 4.0. FS2004 Selectable MFD

FS2004 - The installation of MFD window and its Selection window, with the objective to allow flexibility to position and resize these instruments anyplace in the panel.
Both windows can be opened individually by small buttons, then resized and positioned to any convenient 2D panel location. The multi-function display (MFD) can then be selected in the selection window as HSI, show selected headings. Also can display Course, Airports, NDBs, VORs and WPT locations. The excellent Ken Mitchell's freeware gauges are being used with addition of my opening buttons and MFD frame.

Install of aircraft info window

Aircraft information display in 2D panel, primarily for communication with ATC. The small window containing the airline, aircraft registration and flight ID can be opened by the small ATC button in any 2D panel. The window can then be resized and moved to any free panel space.
Many actual cockpits have the aircraft registration on a small tag in view of the tech crew (In FS, this info is typed in aircraft.cfg behind 'atc_id=' (example N557UA). The flight number is typed in aircraft.cfg behind 'atc_flight_number='(example 376). The operating airline is typed in aircraft.cfg behind 'atc_airline='(example United).
By installing this gauge, all this info is compiled in a small window and is readily viewed by FS pilot.

FS2004 Airbus Side Stick Controller. The movable side stick controller for Airbus panels. Noted that many excellent Airbus panels are missing the side stick. This side stick can be easily installed to the aircraft panel, it opens with the button (marked 'Stick' in red) installed to the panel. The side stick can then be dragged to any most realistic location (as shown in screen shot - in Airbus to the side of the panel). FS2004/FSX Garmin GMC507 Rev.4 Autopilot And FD. Garmin GMC 507 Rev4 Autopilot and Flight Director. An accurate simulations of the Garmin GMC507 Autopilot for use with Microsoft Flight Simulator FS2004 or FSX. In this version I have corrected some bleed through in the main panel image, and have modified the Track mode (see readme.txt). There are no other changes from the previous revision. Advanced features found on this quite complex autopilot systems have been simulated as accurately as possible, with greater functionality and realism than the default Flight Simulator autopilot. The Garmin GMC507 autopilot was designed for use with the Garmin G5 Primary Flight Display and Horizontal Situation Indicator. This autopilot is specifically for use with the revised Garmin G5 gauges by Bob Kellogg, download: G5-1.ZIP, G5-1R.ZIP and G5-2.ZIP. FS2004 HSI Window

FS2004 HSI Window. Install of resizable HSI gauge to any panel. There were many occasions when I needed a functional HSI in the newly downloaded aircraft cockpit. Also sometimes to replace the one I did not like, or to add one to the existing gauges in the panel. Some cockpits were missing HSI and I have replaced some unessential existing gauge with HSI or added it to any available panel space. Important: I respect all the panel designers and realize that HSIs in some cockpits are missing for a good reason since actual aircraft just did not have them. Therefore, if you choose to install any of these HSIs, it is just a convenience to suit your flying experience. All the HSI are FS2004 default gauges therefore there is no need for other gauges install. The exception is the button for making the HSI visible, which I have designed. There is no need to install this button though, since the HSI can be simply added through the menu Views/Instrument panel drop-down. By Peter Bendl.138 downloads
