About This File

FS98 Siebel FH-104 "Hallore" Racer, 1938. Originally designed by Klemm Leichtflugzeugbau as a small, high performance mail and passenger transport, the aircraft was developed by Siebel Flugzeugwerke in 1937, into a fast general liaison aircraft, and was also used for record breaking and racing, notably by Ernst Udet. It won the principal award in the 1938 Littorio Rally, and one unit flew 40,000 km around Africa in 1939. Powered by two 280 hp 8-cyl inverted V Hirth HM 508 engines, its top speed was 350 km/h (190 Kt). 46 units were built, and its design was the basis for the larger Siebel Si-204. New FD with improved ground steering and Autopilot Altitude hold, and improved model eliminating the momentary air-intake bleedthrough. FD and model files can be used to replace the ones in the recently uploaded white Siebel FH-104 "Hallore" 1937, filename FH-104.ZIP. Textures by Udo Entenmann. By Stephan Scholz.
