FS98 US Navy Boeing E-6B Mercury. The Mercury is an airborne command post and provides survivable, reliable and endurable control and communications between the National Command Authority and U.S. strategic and non-strategic forces. Two squadrons, the Ironmen (VQ-3) and the Shadows (VQ-4) operated from Tinker AFB and Offut AFB to meet these requirements.
