About This File

FS2004 Scenery--1960 Chicago O'Hare Airport, Illinois (IL). This is an enthusiast reproduction of Chicago O'Hare circa 1960 for those who love flying both CalClassic Propliners and Historic Jetliners. This scenery features the now demolished original control tower terminals as well as the Welcome to O'Hare airport sign listing Mayor Richard J. Daley. One of the most remarkable features of this scenery is that it also brings back the city of Chicago to 1960. You will notice that both Willis Tower and John Hancock buildings are not there as neither was built back then. Chicago Soldier Field has also been remodeled to its 1960 former glory. Designed by Julio Birman.
