FSX Air Charter and British United Douglas C-54B. This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's Douglas DC-4 and C-54 v3.0. Featured is the C54B (modified to DC-4 standard) G-ANYB in the colors of Air Charter Ltd London and of British United Airways. In January 1955 Freddie Lakers Air Charter aquired the C-54B-DC for transport work in Germany and trooping flights from Stansted to Cyprus. In 1959 the aircraft was moved from trooping flights to service on the route Southend to Calais flying passengers on one-day trips without a passport till 1 July 1960 when Air Charter was merged into British United. From 21 September 1960 till 3 October 1960 G-ANYB was used for a rigorous flying test programme before it was converted to the first Aviation Traders ATL. 98 Carvair car-ferry aircraft.
