FS2004 RDAF F-86D Sabre. The Royal Danish Air Force 6-pack North American F-86D Sabre. In June 1958, the Royal Danish Air Force received the first 38 of 60 F-86D. They replaced the Gloster Meteors Mk. 11 of Squadron 723 and the Republic F-84G Thunderjets of Squadron 726. In 1960 Squadron 728 stationed at FSN Skrydstrup began to replace their F-84G with F-86D. The RDAF now had three Squadrons solely equipped with F-86D. Repaint by Carl Poul Brager for Kazunori Ito's North American F-86D "Sabre Dog".
