X-Plane 10 Scenery--Thun Field (1S0), WA, USA, v1.1. Thun Field is in the shadow of Mount Rainer in Washington State. Turn up the tree levels and take your plane out for a scenic tour around the mountains Rainier, (former mountain) St. Helens, turn around and buzz the tower at SeaTac or send Homeland Security into a tizzy by overflying McChord AFB or Bangor submarine base. There are several names for this field. XP has it 1S0 - Thun Field. Airnav.com has it KPLU. It is also known as Pierce County airport (as evidenced by the big yellow letters if you look at it on Google Earth). Version 1.1 adds "Pierce Co" paint to the main taxiway. It also tightens up the taxiway line joins and removes the ATC networks which is not available at the field. By Brian Godwin.
