FS98 Lockheed Blackbird U-2A. U-2A "Blackbird" Unit 66722 on display at USAF Museum, Wright-Patterson AFB. In 1955, Lockheed produced the U-2A 'Dragon Lady', a single-engined, high-altitude reconnaissance and scientific research aircraft still being updated and operative in the present day. 48 early-version units built, powered by one 13750 flb Pratt & Whitney J57 P37A turbojet engine, with a maximum speed of 459 kt and a ceiling of 85,000 feet.
