FSFW95 Convair 990-MA-630 MPH. Please note: this is an 18 year old Flight Sim 95 aircraft. Please see the read me first text before down loading this aircraft. This is a fictional modernized Convair 990-A Coronado Intercontinental using modern day technology and four fictional custom built Rolls Royce BR-720-53 triple spool high bypass turbofans with 19808 lb thrust custom built to fit the original CV990-A nacelles. This is Convair's broken dream reborn and delivered as promised, with wing flutter, vibration and drag problems over come and 1328 gallons additional fuel inside the four anti shock bodies used as additional fuel tanks (332 US gallons each) as originally planned, even if it is only in the virtual world of simulation. This 990 has even better performance than the airliner Convair promised to American Airlines that unfortunately in the real world fell short of the envisioned high speed and long distance capability they had planned.
